Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians (CAMT)

This program is designed both as an introduction for new maintenance professionals and as a refresher for the veteran employee, to give these professionals the knowledge and tools necessary to run an effective maintenance program. Maintenance expenses are the single largest controllable element in any operating budget. The CAMT program is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), a private non-profit organization that administers and coordinates the U.S. voluntary standardization and conformity assessment system.

The non-technical Soft Skills course consists of online learning, including practice scenarios. Five technical courses consist of hands-on classroom training followed by online practice scenarios.

The purpose of the Apartment Association of Greater Columbia shall be to serve, promote, and protect the interest of the multi-family industry through education, legislation, communication and community involvement. It is this association's goal to improve the industry by uniting professional property management with its Products and Services members. Registration is now open for our Red, White & Brew Karaoke Night.

The event is open to all supplier partners, community level and management staff and friends.  
If family members (guests) are attending and they are not being billed to the company or community their tickets must be paid for in advance. For more information, please call the AAGC at (803) 252-5032. 

The advance ticket price is $35 per person. Advance reservations will be accepted through Wednesday, July 17 at Noon. No refunds will be  given after this date.  

The evening is $45 at the door for those members without an advance RSVP.
