The purpose of the Apartment Association of Greater Columbia is to serve, promote, and protect the interest of the multi-family industry through education, legislation, communication, and community involvement. We promote the professional advancement of the apartment industry in the Greater Columbia area. It is our association’s goal to improve the industry by uniting professional property management with Products and Service members. We are proudly affiliated with the South Carolina Apartment Association (SCAA) and the National Apartment Association (NAA).

As a member of the Apartment Association of Greater Columbia, you will become part of a progressive organization that utilizes both local and national resources to enhance the membership’s opportunities such as networking, sponsorship/advertisement, education, charitable endeavors, and much more. Your membership also gives you membership with the National Apartment Association which encompasses over 69,000 members representing more than 8.1 million apartment homes throughout the United States of America and Canada. You may learn more about the National Apartment Association by visiting their website at www.naahq.org.

The AAGC supports its members by offering monthly networking meetings and an array of educational opportunities with expert speakers and presenters. We support our industry by being involved in, and advocating for, legislation at the local, state and national level. We support our community through charitable events, supply drives, and volunteer work days. We are an organization driven by, and for, its members, primarily through participation in our committees and attendance at our events. As with most things, the more you put into it, the more rewarding it will be!
